NavBeacon
GPS doesn't work inside buildings. NavBeacon does.
NavBeacon is BleuVista's indoor navigation solution. It uses a network of BLE beacons to provide turn-by-turn wayfinding inside any building -- hospitals, shopping centers, corporate campuses, airports, or warehouses.
How It Works
- Beacons are placed at key points throughout your building -- hallways, intersections, elevators, and points of interest
- A navigation graph maps the walkable paths between those points, including floor changes
- The mobile app picks up beacon signals to determine the user's position, then calculates the optimal route to their destination
- Real-time guidance updates as the user moves, keeping them on track with visual directions on a floor map
No internet connection is required once the map data is loaded -- NavBeacon works fully offline.
Key Capabilities
Sub-Meter Accuracy
Our positioning engine uses signal triangulation from multiple beacons to pinpoint location within approximately one meter. The more beacons in range, the more precise the position.
Multi-Floor Support
NavBeacon handles buildings with multiple levels. The app guides users between floors with elevator and stairwell directions, switching floor maps automatically.
Points of Interest
Define destinations -- departments, rooms, amenities, exits -- as selectable waypoints. Users simply tap their destination and follow the route.
QR Code Onboarding
New visitors get started by scanning a single QR code. No account creation, no app store search -- just scan and navigate.
Offline Operation
Map data and navigation graphs are cached on the device. Users can navigate even when disconnected from the network.
